We are grateful for your interest in volunteering with Healthy Birth Day, Inc., the nonprofit organization that created the Count the Kicks stillbirth prevention program. We rely on the help of volunteers to support our mission to improve birth outcomes for moms and babies!

Volunteer Roles

Community Volunteer- Volunteers play an important role in helping Healthy Birth Day, Inc. prevent stillbirth and improve maternal health outcomes through the Count the Kicks program. Volunteers can choose from a variety of meaningful opportunities, including participating in call or email campaigns to healthcare providers, supporting legislative advocacy efforts, creating or organizing contact spreadsheets, helping at in-person events in Iowa, or hosting a Count the Kicks educational table in your community (after completing training). As needs arise, staff share volunteer opportunities, and volunteers can opt in based on their interests, skills, and availability, making this a flexible way to make a real impact.

Count the Kicks Ambassador- Ambassadors are high-level, trained volunteers that regularly and consistently engage with our organization and with fellow Ambassadors through monthly meetings and involvement in a large variety of important activities to support our mission to save babies.
