Healthy Birth Day, Inc. (HBD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of stillbirth through education, advocacy and research. We are best known as the creators of the Count the Kicks program, which teaches expectant parents to get to know their baby’s normal movement patterns in the third trimester of pregnancy. Since launching in Iowa in 2008, we continue to join communities across the country in reducing the rate of stillbirth through the evidence-based Count the Kicks program.
